What is genuinely free: shared, room and equipment mailboxes; distribution and security groups; additional domains; aliases; the SolidCP control panel; anti-spam and anti-virus; daily backups with 30-day recovery; set-up; and migration. None of these are upsells, because none of them should be.

Shared, room and equipment mailboxes are excluded from these counts because they are free. A 40-person firm typically also runs six to ten shared mailboxes at no additional cost.
How billing works
The commercial small print, in plain English
Add and remove any time
Add a mailbox mid-month and we pro-rata it. Remove one and the credit appears on your next invoice. There is no charge for changing your mind.
No minimum term
Rolling monthly. Thirty days notice to cancel, and we will export your mailboxes to PST or help you migrate away at no charge.
VAT at 20%
Every price on this site excludes VAT. £8.00 + VAT is £9.60 including VAT at the current rate.
Written quote first
Nothing is provisioned until you have a written quote listing every line item and have said yes to it.
No price rises mid-term
Annual customers are locked at the price they signed. Monthly customers get 60 days notice of any change.

How much does hosted Exchange cost per mailbox in the UK?
A full Exchange mailbox with MyExchangeServer is £8.00 + VAT per mailbox, per month. That includes 50 GB of storage, shared calendars and contacts, instant push sync to every device, anti-spam and anti-virus filtering, and self-service administration through SolidCP. There is no set-up fee, no minimum term and no minimum mailbox count. Paying annually saves 10%.
What happens when a 50 GB mailbox fills up?
You extend it. Extra storage is £2.50 + VAT per 50 GB block, per mailbox, per month, and you can stack as many blocks as you need. If the mailbox is mostly historic mail, an in-place archive at £3.00 + VAT per 100 GB is usually the cheaper answer, because it keeps the primary mailbox small and Outlook fast while everything remains searchable.
Do you offer a service level agreement?
Yes. We commit to 99.9% platform availability measured monthly, with service credits if we miss it. Support runs Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, with 24/7 emergency cover for platform-affecting incidents. Business Critical customers get out-of-hours response as standard.
What happens if we want to leave?
There is no minimum term and no exit penalty. Give us 30 days notice and we will export your mailboxes to PST or assist a migration to your new provider. Your data is yours, and we will not hold it hostage to keep your business.
Do you support shared mailboxes, room bookings and meeting rooms?
Yes, and they are free. Shared mailboxes, room mailboxes and equipment mailboxes do not count towards your licensed mailbox total, so you can set up info@, accounts@, a boardroom calendar and a pool car booking resource without paying for any of them.
